This triptych reproduces the now iconic gestures of Pfc. Lynndie England in the infamous Abu Ghraib photographs. Reducing the gestures to their minimal forms, the piece aims to highlight the basic disconnect between these familiar, cocky, even seemingly innocuous expressions, and torture.
